ALL ABOUT MOMS!

SPRING CLASSES!

Last week was our last Comic Book Series and we did covers! Our Mexican Art Series was all about Day of the Dead. This week will be our last week and we will be working on shadow box nichos!

INTRO TO PRINTMAKING

If you are either a beginner or someone who needs a space to print make. This class is for you! In our introduction to block printing 3 part workshop, you will take your own graphic or pattern design (or use one of the images in the studio), then learn to transfer it to a Speedy Carve block to produce a linocut stamp. Next, you will practice printing with water soluble ink and your new stamp as you print your image on several prints featuring your block print designs to take home. The second block we will use two different colors with an image you brought or an image that is provided in class. Register today here! 13 yrs and up!

YOGA MAKERS & HEALING ART

This Friday! May 8 at 9am, caring and mindful movement for those who make. Sore hands, poor posture, repetitive movement --all get reset with this physical and artistic class. Breathe into movement that soothes the body with yoga, physical therapy, Pilates and stretch. Channel your flow into meaningful art therapy to wrap up the experience and tap into creative expression. ART JOURNALING WORKSHOP

We are having a new one start May 12 at 7pm. Come and continue what you have been working on or come for the first time! This is all about the process and discovery, not about the product. Stress free and no experience necessary! Register today here!

TETRA PAK IS BACK!

Tetra Pak workshop May 27 from 6pm-9pm! Tetra Pak printing workshop is an eco-friendly, accessible printmaking session where participants repurpose clean, laminated food/beverage cartons into intaglio or collagraph printing plates. Using etching tools, participants cut, score, and peel the cartons to create textured, unique designs. These plates are inked, wiped, and printed-using a press-to produce original, detailed artworks.
Instructor will provide all paper, ink, scoring supplies and misc. supplies needed to print on the press. 15 years and up please. No experience necessary! 13 and up! Register today here!
