What’s new at Grey…

What a great start to our after school classes! Our lantern making was so much fun and next week will be even bigger with making lantern hats!

Our Art Explorers started this week as well and we went back in time to the caves of Lascaux and Chauvet and made our own dioramas.

Upcoming Events!

The Collective will be meeting up next week for a lantern making hangout! Come work on your lanterns for the Berwyn Lantern Parade. There will be supplies and round lanterns to use. Suggested donation of $10 is welcome for supplies!

Join us for Beauty in Death, our second art exhibition celebrating the death to summer. Through the eyes of local artists, this show invites us to find beauty in the unexpected—and to contemplate the stories that remain after life has passed.
The show will remain open to the public to view until November 7th.

What a great Trash Puppet Workshop last week! Many thanks to artist, Rachel Hartman was is collaborating with Rabbitfoot Puppetry and Kerfuffle on an exciting new show, The Dinosaur of Lake Michigan! The production will be performed throughout the Chicago Park District, accompanied by FREE trash-puppet-making workshops.

A community-focused space where artists of all levels can create, connect, and express their true selves.
