Hello, I am Al Aviles, Jr.  I am a Toy Photographer. I pose toys in creative and amusing settings. All of the backgrounds in my scenes are real. There is no AI or Photoshop involved. I scour the world searching for the perfect location but mostly stay in the Chicagoland area because I easily get lost.

Selling my photos at art fairs is a thrill because I get to see people’s reactions to my work. I enjoy all the smiles and laughter.  I am always curious to see what people choose to buy. Is it a funny one?  Is it their favorite character or one from their childhood? That is what I try to accomplish with my photos, to elicit some emotional connection. But my main goal is simple: FUN!
