Patricia Browne

Patricia has been an artist for as long as she can remember. She drew and painted from early childhood and throughout her school years. Her first commercial endeavor, though, was through the design and fabrication of neon signs as well as other electric and non electric signs. She co-owned a sign company for 15 years. After that she did freelance graphic design and illustration for corporate clients.

But, her true passion is oil painting; specifically landscapes, nature, and animals. Her other love and passion is rescue and working with animals. This interest has led her to painting animal portraits, both domestic as in pets as well as wildlife. Recently, she has been exploring painting outdoors. The Plein Air Painting movement has given her exciting new challenges in her art. She enjoys painting from observation (life) as well as doing commissioned paintings in her studio.
