6 week series - September 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
Ready to take your drawing to the next level? In this six-week drawing series, young artists will build their skills while discovering their own creative style.
Each week, students will explore a new drawing technique through fun, hands-on projects designed specifically for middle school artists, but younger artists are most welcome. We'll experiment with observation, proportion, shading, perspective, portraiture, character design, and drawing from imagination—all while encouraging students to take creative risks and make their artwork uniquely their own.
Students will learn how to make drawings feel three-dimensional, use light and shadow to create depth, draw expressive characters, and develop imaginative worlds and stories. Along the way, they'll practice a variety of drawing techniques and gain confidence in their artistic abilities.
This class is perfect for students who love to draw, want to improve their skills, or simply want a creative space to experiment and have fun. No previous drawing experience is required.
